In this message, we introduced the sixty-sixth and final book of the Bible, Revelation.  We introduce the purpose and intent of the book as a singular revelation of the "Amen" of God's program with Israel. In it, the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as the Almighty God, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the first and the last.  In Him, the program of God with Israel is brought to its fullness and completion.  We also look at the fulfillment of scripture in the recording of the words of this prophecy, and the manner in which the information was given to John "in the Spirit on the Lord's Day."

In this message, we continue our introductory remarks regarding the Revelation through a brief recap of the major points in the last message and continuing on from where we left off.  A few examples of God's transportation of individuals into the future are cited as biblical precedent for what took place with John, and some words spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ are considered in view of what being "in the Spirit in the Lord's day" may mean.  Afterward, we take a look at the way the Lord is described in the Revelation, especially focusing upon the phrase "the first and the last" and its significance to God's program with Israel.

In this message, we deal with the concept of "Cyclical Layering."  This is my own homespun term to describe a teaching concept that we find God often using through His word, especially in relation to prophetic revelation.  Through a brief explanation of the idea and several illustrations and examples of its use, we seek to demonstrate the usefulness and necessity of such a method of teaching and give some insight into God's affinity for it.  The reason for all of this, of course, is because of its use in the book of the Revelation.  While we do not touch on the Revelation itself in this message, the concepts learned serve as the foundational basis for being able to process the information given to John and written in this format.  Therefore, this message serves as an essential introduction to Lesson 134 and the concepts covered therein.

In this message, we examine the use of "Cyclical Layering" in the book of the Revelation.  To see the pertinence of this method of presentation to the specific issue of the last time, we brief observe the manner in which the Lord answers His disciples on the mount of olives in Mt. 24 in relation to the when the end shall be.  In typical cycling fashion as we have come to expect, we see the Lord present an overview of the entire tribulation period, cycle back to the midpoint to layer in more detail, and finally cycle back once more to the very end to establish His disciples' understanding in these prophetic truths.  The similar looping method of is employed by John in the Revelation and this message is the first installment of a brief walk through of an outline of the chapters.

In this message, we conclude our brief overview of the book of the Revelation and the series, Israel My Glory.  The final segments of the timeline are briefly highlighted before brining things full circle with our source text, Isaiah 46:13.  The many weeks and months of study come down to this; the glory of God in the fulfillment of His plan and purpose with Israel.  To God only wise be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
